PODCAST: Strange Idioms (1)

     Today I listened to a podcast called "strange idioms(1)" . They talked about strange and interesting idioms used among English and Japanese people. For example, when an English people is nervous, he or she says that "I have butterflies in my stomach.".

Travel to Miyajima Island

      The day before yesterday I went on a trip to Miyajima island with two friends of mine. We took the train to the Miyajima-guti station and then went to the island by ferry.      There are many wild deer in the island. They were so accustomed to humans that they didn't show a special reaction or response to us.      Unfortunately, the front guard frame of Itsukushima Shrine, one of the symbols of Miyajima was under construction. What a bad timing!

My favorite movie: Back to the Future

      I rarely watch movies, so I don't know about many kinds of them. However, one of the movies even I loved was " Back to the Future ". It was made in America in 1985. It starred Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd. The director was Robert Lee Zemeckis. This movie won the 58th Academy Award for Best Sound Editing.       In 1985,  Martin McFly, who was an ordinary high school student living in Hill Valley,  was suddenly called by Doc . He was Martin's good friend, and also a genius scientist trying to develop a time machine. Doc asked Martin to help with his trial time travel, but then he was attacked by terrorists. To escape from them, Martin traveled back in time to 1955... In the world of 1955, he made great efforts to return to 1985, protect Doc's life in the future from terrorists, and keep his own existence from vanishing because of the time paradox.      I thought the main point of the movie was the close friendship betwee...

PODCAST: A Crazy Life at American University

     Today I listen to a Podcast "A crazy life at a American university 5 Noisy Neighbor"      I'll make sentences.      I want to start on kind of the must , my homework for tomorrow. I must study the ethnic character of Japanese. However my neighbor of the dormitory is listening the blast music, it is so noisy! I have been afraid of confronting the dude , but I must ask him to turn it down .
