Quoted from https://natalie.mu/music/pp/yonezukenshi12      I'll introduce a famous person who was born in Tokushima.             Yonezu Kenshi,  he is probably the most popular musician(singer-songwriter) in Japan now. He is from Tokushima. His representative works so far are "Lemon", "Paprika", "LOSER", and "Eine Kleine". Above all, the music video of "Lemon" has over 600 million views on YouTube. It is well-known that he broadcasted his live performance from Otsuka Museum in Tokushima, in the 69th annual contest between popular singers on New Year's Eve.      My favorite song is "Shunrai", and this title means spring thunder. "MAD HEAD LOVE" is also my favorite. His speedy and rhythmical songs are perfectly suited for my preference.         Enable Ginger Cannot connect to Ginger Check your internet connection or reload the browser Disable in this text field Edit Edit in Ginger Edit in Ginger ×

My favorite movie: Back to the Future

イメージ
I rarely watch movies, so I don't know about many kinds of them. However, one of the movies even I loved was " Back to the Future ". It was made in America in 1985. It starred Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd. The director was Robert Lee Zemeckis. This movie won the 58th Academy Award for Best Sound Editing.       In 1985,  Martin McFly, who was an ordinary high school student living in Hill Valley,  was suddenly called by Doc . He was Martin's good friend, and also a genius scientist trying to develop a time machine. Doc asked Martin to help with his trial time travel, but then he was attacked by terrorists. To escape from them, Martin traveled back in time to 1955... In the world of 1955, he made great efforts to return to 1985, protect Doc's life in the future from terrorists, and keep his own existence from vanishing because of the time paradox.      I thought the main point of the movie was the close friendship between Martin and Doc beyond the time

What musician I've been into lately

(Quoted from the official site: larc-en-ciel.com)      Do you know a Japanese rock band, L'Arc~en~Ciel? This band was formed in 1991 and boomed on the large scale. The name of this group means "rainbow" in French. The most famous song of theirs is probably " READY STEADY GO ", which was used for the opening theme of the popular Japanese animation, ” Fullmetal Alchemist ”.      Unexpectedly I listened to one of their songs on Spotify for the first time and fell in love with their music. That song's name is " Hitomi no juunin ", released in 2004. It is the best of all the pop songs I've listened to recently. In addition to this, they have released many good songs. (I like " the Fourth Avenue Cafe" , " Lies and Truth ", " winter fall ", " snow drop ", " I Wish " and many more.)  Enable Ginger Cannot connect to Ginger Check your internet connection or reload the browser Disable in this text field

Ōkunoshima Island

イメージ
Do you know Ōkunoshima Island? This island is famous for rabbits. Many wild rabbits (about 900) live on the island which is about 0.7 square kilometers in area.        I'm from Tokushima, so I had not known the existence of it. However, since I entered Hiroshima University and moved to Hiroshima, I have looked up sightseeing spots to travel around with my friends. In the course of it, I found out about this attractive island. I love tiny animals, so I want to visit there so much.      There are various theories about why such many rabbits live on the island. The most dominant theory is that eight rabbits kept in a local elementary school were released, and then multiplied.   Enable Ginger Cannot connect to Ginger Check your internet connection or reload the browser Disable in this text field Edit Edit in Ginger Edit in Ginger ×
